Versace’s Models Reunion

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of her brother Giovanni’s death, Donatella Versace closed her SS18 runway show at Milan fashion week with the ultimate tribute. Reuniting the dream team of 90s supermodels, including Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer. They all walked the runway once more in gold, glittering Versace gowns. Plus, a surprise, epic finale seems an appropriate way to remember a man like Giovanni Versace, who reinvented pop culture.

Fenty x Puma

Another epic exit during fashion month was Rihanna during her SS18 Fenty x Puma showcase at NYC Fashion week. The show featured a typically outlandish collection, including a pair of high heeled flip flops that divided opinion. The designer left on the back of a motorbike, in a lace up shirt and thigh high lime green leather boots.

Woman of the Year

Although, maybe the brightest fashion highlights of the year was Solange Knowles. She was awarded a prestigious Woman of the Year Awards at Glamour Magazines ceremony in New York. She arrived with newly bleached hair and a sunshine yellow dress, with matching topaz evening gloves. Also, in our eyes winning for the most artistic look of the night!

A New Generation of Fashion

A redefining moment in British fashion was Edward Ennifuls debut as editor in chief at British Vogue. The cover starred British model and feminist activist Adwoa Aboah, launching a new generation of political, socially aware and diverse Vogue editions. Plus, Adwoa won coveted Model of the Year award at the annual British Fashion Awards, so we can’t wait to see what 2018 brings!

Ageless Fashion

Fitness icon and legendary model Jane Fonda proved to us there is no age limit on fashion. Her hot pink dress, with a dramatic train and flared sleeve, was paired with a pristine long, blonde ponytail. Her Brandon Maxwell gown was the boldest look on the 2017 Emmy’s red carpet. By looking this good at 79, the actress proves that fashion is not just a young woman’s game!
