It’s officially the awkward In Between season. We’re waking up to cloudy, grey weather- but we’re eating lunch outside in the sun. So, while we’re trying to spend a few last days with our favourite flip flops- we should start to think about autumn. September is fashion month, so we’ve put together a range of autumn winter trends for shoes you should look for!
What’s being featured on the catwalks?
Runway fashion can be intimidating- we don’t all want to wear a black full length veil on the 7.50 train. First you may think the trends just aren’t for you- but there are some great ways to add a little bit of high fashion into your everyday outfits. Starting with autumn winter trends for shoes, here’s what fashion houses are predicting to be trends for autumn winter 2018.
Super Skinny Heels- experience needed
Stilettos are a firm runway favourite, and they’re not going anywhere. However, trendsetters such as Yves Saint Laurent are predicting ultra-skinny heels, will be all over your Instagram feed this season. These are definitely not for the faint hearted.
Snake-skin print, (with added glitter)
One of the biggest autumn winter trends for shoes is snakeskin- just like these Rochas’ boots. The silver glitter knee boots, with a pink snakeskin heel are the ultimate statement.
If pink isn’t your colour, our designer features any colour you could think of. Plus, they’re faux print- so you get the luxe look and feel of snake skin, cruelty free.
Pointed Toe Shapes
One of my favourite autumn winter trends for shoes is the pointed toe shape. These Delpozo soft leather shoes feature a super pointed toe- they’re elegant and fashion forward.
Although, I’ve met many women who think they’re feet are a little too wide or narrow for pointed toes- myself included. However, for some of these autumn winter trends for shoes, our PrecisionFit service can help your shoes fit perfectly. When you think your feet just aren’t right for a trend- we can help. Sunshine yellow- all year round
Arguably, Fendi are the biggest trendsetters right now. They’ve been a favourite amongst influencers for a while, with the Kardashian-Jenner’s modelling their campaigns. One common autumn winter trends for shoes is a bright hue- this bright yellow shade. Winter isn’t just for burgundy and brown’s anymore!
Want some help styling the colour? Here are our favourite ways to wear the colour, even for grown-ups.
