I mentioned these white vegan leather and lace oxfords in my Summer Wedding Shoe Style post, and thought I could give a short tutorial on how to make them in the 3D designer. It isn’t immediately obvious how you can make an oxford shoe, since it isn’t one of the styles listed. Once you figure out how to make them, the possibilities are endless!
Step 1: Picking the Right Base
On the “Pick a Shoe Style” page, scroll down to the bottom row and select Loafers.
Step 2: Making it an Oxford
The style tab will automatically be open. Under “Toe Shape”, select the 4th option.
Step 3: Adding the White Vegan Leather and Lace
Now that we’ve got our shoe in the right shape and style, it’s time to add the white vegan leather and lace! Under the Materials & Colours tab, select each part of the shoe from the drop-down menu and choose your materials.
Your Completed White Vegan Leather and Lace Oxfords
I used white vegan leather for the toe cap, back cap, and top panel, white lace for the middle panel, light pink colour for the shoelaces, and beige for the sole. Your white vegan leather and lace oxfords are done. Complete your order, and enjoy your new shoes!
More Options
Don’t like the white vegan leather? Not a problem! Here are some more colour palettes that I think look great on the Oxford.
Black Lace and Gold Glitter Oxfords
Toe Cap, Back Cap, Top Panel: Black Lace; Middle Panel: Gold Sparkling; Shoelace: Yellow
Red and Black Snakeskin
Toe Cap, Back Cap, Middle Panel, Top Panel: Red and Black Snake Print; Shoelace: Black
Light Purple and Dark Grey Oxfords
Toe Cap, Top Panel: Light Purple Soft Leather; Middle Panel, Back Cap: Dark Grey Soft Leather; Sole: Beige
These Oxfords can be made with any materials and colours in the designer, so go crazy! Another option is to use the high heel Oxford style in the designer, which works almost exactly the same, with the exception of being able to add colour to the heel. Design your own Oxfords today!
