What Happens During a Fitting Appointment?
Sometimes, customers would prefer to speak to our team, or see sample shoes for design inspiration. Once you’ve decided to visit our London studio, here’s what you can expect.
ARRIVING AT OUR STUDIO
Once you’ve confirmed a date and time with our team- we’re usually pretty flexible- feel free to make your way to the studio. Once you’re here, we’ll grab a tea/coffee and sit down in a private space. We want your shoes to feel as personal as possible, including expressing yourself through style and making sure we understand the frustrations shoe shopping normally brings. You’re welcome to take as long as you need, but generally these appointments take up to an hour.
During the design consultation, we’ll have dozens of sample shoes available. If you’re looking for a special event, or certain style, let us know and we can display a tailored range. Plus, you’ll see the premium quality and expert craftsmanship that goes into making Solely Original shoes!
Plus, as part of our made to measure shoe service, you’ll be able to see our full range of materials. Not all of the shades are available online, so a design consultation opens up even more possibilities for designs.
GETTING TECHNICAL WITH PRECISIONFIT SCANNING
One key part of a made to measure shoe service is the measurements. Exclusive to our design consultations and pop up stores, our 3D Scanner service. Although our remote fitting service aims to be as convenient as possible, our 3D PrecisionFit scanning option takes under 5 minutes. Also, the service is unique to Solely Original!
The end result? After measuring your feet one by one, we’ll be able to show you the complete set of precise measurements we share with our shoemakers.
HAVING YOUR MADE-TO-MEASURE SHOES DELIVERED
After discussing options and taking your measurements, you’ll be asked if you want to complete your order. We accept all major credit/debit cards, and you’ll experience the same security and order updates as if purchased online. Usually a made to measure shoe service could take up 6 months to deliver your shoes. However, depending on the delivery method you choose, your Solely Original shoes will be with you within 2-6 weeks.
