Design Inspiration: What Shoes to Wear During Summer

Summer wardrobes are a nightmare, aren’t they? Being on trend, practical and comfortable often feels like a tall order. Plus, knowing what shoes to wear for summer is a whole other dilemma! Speaking as someone with small, yet wide feet, sandals in standard sizes are often uncomfortable, and reveal more of my feet than I’d like to.

Using our online 3D designer, we’ve created some shoes to update your summer wardrobe, to help you decide what to wear!

What Shoes to Wear During Summer

First, we’ve designed a summer staple- wedges! Wedges have the glamour of heels; giving you extra long legs and more height. Yet, the bigger surface area means they are not as painful as standard heels.Shoes to Wear During Summer

We’ve designed an open toe wedge heel. Although the heel is 5.5″ don’t be afraid! It’s high, but the bigger sole, and platform reduces pressure on your feet. We’ve designed this pair with a dark grey patent leather upper, and a sparkling grey heel.

Fashionable all year round

These are perfect shoes to wear during summer, with a maxi dress to the beach, or a cocktail dress to dinner. Plus, they’re great for autumn too! During chillier weather, or a casual glam outfit, pair with a t shirt and jeans. Heading to a BBQ? Check out our outfit guide for a perfect laid back spring BBQ outfit.

Summer Blues?

Next, here’s a pair of sophisticated court shoes. These are great shoes to wear during summer wedding and events, the soft blue tones are pretty with almost any colour.

Using a light blue silk for the upper creates a luxe feel, instantly making any outfit glamorous. Also, we’ve used one of our new features- a painted heel in light blue. Added with outdoor events in mind, the wipe clean, glossy heel protects your shoes from everyday damage. Now, you don’t have to worry about ruining or repairing your heels!
